Wild Lebanon

Wild Lebanon

You cannot defend a hillside you have never counted.

Wild Lebanon is the longest-horizon thing on this page and the least developed. The plan is unglamorous and deliberately so: walk the same routes on a schedule, record what is there, and build a record solid enough to be worth citing when a slope is threatened.

A field survey on a wild hillside at dawn
Early survey work on a ridge we walk most months.

Objectives

  • Record what lives along the routes we walk, season by season
  • Support existing reserves rather than duplicating them
  • Campaign against quarrying and dumping on protected slopes

Partners

  • Existing nature reserves
  • Environmental NGOs

Take part

Wild Lebanon starts in 2027. If you have field survey experience — birds, botany, anything — we want to hear from you now.
